It all started in high school when my grandmother, who lived in a different state from the rest of our family, struggled with her daily routine. She often found herself frustrated because she wasn’t sure of the time or had difficulty keeping up with her schedule.
Trying to explain what she needed to do each day over the phone was challenging, and not being there physically made it even harder. I knew there had to be a better way.
So, I created the first version of The Motherbörd, a remote-controlled display that allowed my family to update her schedule, messages, and reminders straight from our phones. It was a simple but powerful tool that made her life easier and gave us peace of mind, knowing she had all the information she needed in one place.
Now, as I pursue an Electrical Engineering degree, I’ve decided to take The Motherbörd to the next level—improving it, refining it, and making it available to help families around the world. What started as a small solution for my grandmother is now on its way to becoming a tool that can bring clarity, connection, and convenience to countless others.
